  1. I’ve saved college app tracker on my google drive but I can’t edit it. Please help.

  2. Try saving a copy of the file on your Google drive. Go to File and click on “Save a copy.” Then you can re-name the file and edit. If this doesn’t work, please let me know. Thanks!

  3. I have a couple of suggestions for your college app tracker.
    – It’s a great tracker, but it seems like it’s geared mostly for Common App tracking (therein lie some of my suggestions).

    – Re Common App: Maybe you could put a row at top (above College 1), where users can list their login and password info for the Common App website. Just have Common App, Log in and Password fields, and X out or do not allow data to go in the other fields in that row.

    – You don’t have a column for “regular” applications — for when a school does not use the Common App. Maybe in the Requirements section, there could be a Yes/No column for “regular” or a non-common app apps (I’m not sure how to word that…). Then, when you go over to the Completed section, it only asks if you have submitted the Common App. Maybe that column should just read App Submitted, and it would cover whether or not an app for that college has been submitted — common or regular.

    – Would also like to see a Yes/No column in the Completed section for App Fee Paid. Yes, you have a column for the fee amount (which is nice), but it does not indicate whether it has been paid or not.

    – Re the App Fee Amount Column. It would be nice to tally this so that users can see how much they have spent, or will spend, on college apps. Is there a way to make it an “If this then that” type column. Meaning, if you answered Yes to my suggested column of App Fee Paid column in Completed, then it would tally the amounts paid. If the answer to App Fee Paid is No, then it would not be included in the tally. I don’t know if that makes sense to do it that way.
